Objectives

Our goal was to define the North Star, vision, and role of a new division within a large and complex company ecosystem characterized by communication gaps, overlaps, and silos. The division aims to develop innovative products and services that meet user needs while utilizing company assets effectively and adopting a financially sound business model.

To capitalize on the opportunities offered by connected technology, we needed to determine the most valuable types of data to use and the optimal ways to leverage this data to provide both customer and business value.

Our Approach

Strategic Positioning

We conducted a thorough analysis of the overall company strategy and structure, mapped available assets, and identified unique selling propositions (USPs) to establish a clear strategic position for the new division.

Business owners & Innovation framework

We identified key business owners within the division and created a comprehensive innovation framework. This framework covered the entire product lifecycle, from idea generation to launch, and facilitated cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Product Portfolio

Based on extensive market research and analysis of various business models, we proposed over 40 potential solutions. From these, we prioritized 18 feasible products that had the potential to enhance the company’s portfolio and add significant business value.

Organisational Restructure

To address existing challenges, we shifted from vertical, isolated team structures to multi-channel, cross-functional teams focused on specific product territories. This approach fostered collaboration, reduced redundancies, and improved overall efficiency.
